Welcome to IES Hässleholm

I have been working with IES since 2009 when I was fortunate enough to be a part of opening IES Jönköping.

I was there for 5 years and learned so much from my Principal there, Simon Varley. 

After a two year return to the UK during which I owned a successful renewables business I still felt myself drawn to Sweden and IES so my family and I returned in 2016 to join the team at IES Hässleholm in its second year. 

Since then I have held a number of roles within management with a focus on student wellbeing and safety and again learned a great deal from our Principal here for the last three years, Truls Katzler.

It is my drive to ensure that all students have a calm and safe learning environment which eventually led to the permanent role of Assistant Principal and until May when we will be welcoming our new Principal, Maria Hall, I am proud to lead a great team of educators and a wonderful student body.

I genuinely care and that is why I am happy to repeat my opening: Welcome to our school!
